Carried across the board by a skater for 3.5 hours from the start time, unless you give it a stop time below. Longer text just takes longer to cross the screen — the preview below shows how wide the banner will be.
Ordered by start time. Anyone can remove any message.

The colours staff can pick from when they add a shout-out. Tap a swatch to remove it. Admins aren't limited to this list — use the wheel on the Add form for a one-off colour. Removing a colour here doesn't change shout-outs already using it.
When each screen last checked in. They report every few minutes, so anything under 30 minutes is healthy.
How often the screens look for new sold-out changes. Faster reacts quicker; slower is gentler. The fast settings check (~12s) always runs, so this control itself takes effect right away.
Pauses all checking from midnight to 10am, enforced by each screen’s own clock. The rink is closed, so there’s nothing to update.
Which looping video plays behind each screen, or the rink logo as a plain default. Videos have to already be deployed to that Pi — if a screen's chosen one isn't there yet, or fails to load, the board falls back to the logo on its own.
Who is allowed to skate across the boards. Only one is ever on screen at a time, with a gap of up to 30 seconds between them. Switch them all off for a clean board.
